Today, I wanted to talk you all through our roadmap for reopening. 🥳
Stage 1 - Semi Private PT (1-2-4) will return outside from Thursday, 1st April 2021. This will however be a hybrid model until Monday, 17th May, when we can return to 1-2-4 inside.
What is a Hybrid model?
It was fantastic to have all of our level 3 Personal Training students back in for face to face education.
We still have spaces on our next course starting May 15th and 16th and are taking bookings for our final course in 2021.

When most people try and lose weight, get fit and healthy, they normally go and join a gym.
Have you been a member of a gym before?
Typically, when you go and join a gym, the membership adviser will sell you the membership and then get you booked in with the fitness instructor to write you a weight loss program.
Now I’ve been really fortunate to have visited many gyms and even more fortunate to be able to assess what we are doing as an industry in terms of our exercise prescription. Unfortunately we are doing really poor, it doesn’t matter if you are joining for weight loss, toning, sports specific, muscle building, fitness or injury rehabilitation, the same program is written for everyone and it typically looks like this; you are going to warm up on the bike for 5 minutes, then go on the treadmill for 10 minutes, the cross trainer for 10 minutes,

Granted, Jean had already made the switch from a big commercial gym, (where she repeated the same workout on the same 3 pieces of cardio equipment) to a small independant facility where every session is coached.

Our January 2021 course sold out and we are in week 3 of delivery, even in a lockdown! We've had to pivot but the feedback has been fantastic.
We are using the time to help the students with their workbooks, until education can return in person. Then we can get straight to the practical elements and look to pass our students ASAP.
With that in mind we have launched 3 new courses for 2021.

Alongside our already planned courses;

All our courses require you to attend 10, 4 hour practical workshops alongside 4 hours a week of your own learning (guided by us of course).

"Before I started at Studio Twenty 3, I hadn't really been doing any regular exercise for four or five months. I was starting to feel a bit unfit ...
