What do I enjoy about training? Everything! I love it. It’s the one time in the day where I’m doing something just for me. I love the people, the trainers and being part of the whole Studio Twenty 3 community. I love lifting weights, I love feeling strong and capable, I love having muscles, I love the improvements it has made to my 45 year old body. I love eating healthily and between Mark and I, I love the positive influence that it has on our three teenage kids.
Abi is a true inspirational success story. Although you might not believe it, until the age of 40, Abi was uninterested in sport or exercise! Abi took up personal training sessions with Gareth 6 years ago and her consistency, highly motivated spirit and determination have produced the results that she is showing today. She has experienced a broken arm along the way but this hasn’t stopped her. Physio treatments, optimism and encouragement at Studio Twenty 3 carried her through this time. As well as being focussed and hard-working in the gym, Abi also practices the nutritional advice that we suggest. Abi trains 6 x a week and this includes 1 x PT session on a Monday, a SGT on a Wednesday and Friday and 3 x short home HIIT sessions each week. Pure dedication. A recent fantastic achievement:

Having spoken to Abi the other day, she told me that she never says ‘no’ in the gym. She is willing to give everything a go and I can’t help but think that this mind set is exactly what is needed to produce similar success stories.
