We at Studio Twenty 3 can put the types of people we help into two categories

1. People at the beginning of their fitness journey who have no idea what the right thing to do is.

2. People who are working really hard but doing all the wrong things.

We find it most frustrating when we meet people who are trying so hard but not seeing the results for their effort.

In our eyes there is nothing worse than working really and seeing no results.

Imagine if you could put half the effort in a see twice the results,
Imagine if you didn’t have to hammer the treadmill for an hour every time you go to the gym,
Imagine if what you do in the gym turns you into a fat burning machine for up to 72 hours post workout.

Well that's what strength training will do to you if you are a cardio junkie trying to burn fat.

2. Strength Training creates tone.

Although 'tone' in our eyes doesn't' really exist. All 'tone' is, is a reduction in body fat and an increase in muscle mass. Don't worry ladies. Strength training will not make you big and bulky. Not unless you train twice a day for 10 years and eat 10000 calories a day.
3. Strength Training burns more calories

That's right. Strength Training burns more  calories per hour than traditional cardio. Are you starting to get the message yet.
5. Strength training increases you fitness

With the correct amount of load strength training can really get your heart and lungs pumping. So you are not only going to see the physical benefits of feeling strong your heart and lungs will get stronger also.
1. Strength Training Torches body fat.

When you train for strength you will see and increase in muscle mass. An increase in muscle mass will mean that your resting metabolic rate goes up. That's right you burn more calories at rest if you train for strength.

4. Strength Training is good for your bones

As we age our bones get weaker, applying heavy loads to our body helps our bones to stay strong and healthy.
6. Strength Training makes you feel 'Strong'

There isn't a better feeling in the world than waking up and feeling strong. It improves your mood, self confidence and can be really handy in every day life.
